At Apple’s big event today at the Steve Jobs Theater, Apple unveiled three new iPhones: the   iPhone 8, the iPhone 8 Plus   and the   iPhone X . “No other devices in our lifetime have had the impact on the world that the iPhone has,” Apple CEO Tim Cook said today. The iPhone 8 starts at $699 for a 64GB model and the iPhone 8 Plus starts at $799 for a 64GB model. Pre-orders start September 15 and will be available September 22. The iPhone X starts at $999. Ten years ago, the world got much bigger and much smaller, all in one fell swoop. Steve Jobs introduced the iPhone, the first internet-connected smartphone that put user experience above all, finally executing on the idea of a full touchscreen handset. This ushered in the rise of constant social networking, an application economy and complete dependence on our smartphones for just about everything. Today, Apple has   introduced the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus . But in true Apple fashion, Tim Cook promised us “one more thing.” Today, 10 years later, Apple is introducing the iPhone X. And, by the way, it’s pronounced “Ten.” So what does a decade of iPhone innovation look like? Design Apple’s iPhone X, like the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, comes with a brand new design, ditching bezels and opting for a glass front and back. Apple launch the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus

Apple unveiled the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus at   its press event . It looks a lot like the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, but with a glass back. The iPhone 8 still has a single camera while the 8 Plus has a double camera. It comes in silver, space gray and a new gold finish that looks like a mix between gold and rose gold. These phones are sealed to be water and dust resistant. Apple also announced the iPhone X at the same conference, a new, premium model with a screen that fills the front of the device. Speakers are 25 percent louder and have deeper bass. Inside, it has an A11 Bionic chip. It is a 64-bit chip with two high-performance cores that are 25 percent faster than the A10 in the iPhone 7, and 4 high-efficiency cores that are 70 percent faster than the ones in the A10 (the A10 only had two high-efficiency cores).
