ioPhone 2 Specs and Features The JioPhone 2 comes with a number of changes and improvements, with the most striking change being the QWERTY keypad like older BlackBerry devices. In addition, it also borrows its predecessor’s 4-way navigation key and the dedicated voice command button to summon the  Hello Jio  voice assistant. CALIFORNIA: More than one billion users of the messaging service WhatsApp are set to discover a new feature that mirrors what you would find on increasingly popular messaging app Snapchat. The announcement comes just ahead of WhatsApp's 8th birthday on Feb 24. On its website, WhatsApp said it was reinventing the status feature. "Starting today, we are rolling out an update to status, which allows you to share photos and videos with your friends and contacts on WhatsApp in an easy and secure way. Yes, even your status updates are end-to-end encrypted." The Status tool which is essentially an update to WhatsApp Status will allow sharing of photos, videos and animated GIFs that will expire after 24 hours, much like how it works on Snapchat Stories. Facebook now officially supports end-to-end encryption for all of its 1 billion users. The company employs technology from Open Whisper Systems, which also enables the end-to-end encryption for WhatsApp. Facebook hasn’t made a public announcement, but Wired said sources inside the company have confirmed the additional security measure is available for everyone. You really should be using end-to-end encryption for all chats, since it essentially blocks anyone from snooping in on your conversation. In fact, it’s a bit bizarre that Facebook didn’t just enable this by default, as it does with WhatsApp and as Apple does with iMessage. Wired said the “Secret”options such as stickers will continue to work with the function enabled but I suspect other functions, such as bots, won’t. Facebook-owned WhatsApp has updated its privacy policy. As per the new policy, WhatsApp will start sharing users' phone numbers with its parent, allowing for, what the company claims, more relevant advertisements and friend recommendations on the social network. The move is WhatsApp's first update to its privacy policy since it was acquired by Facebook in 2014. Facebook Inc's popular messaging service WhatsApp announced this in a blog post. In the blog post, the company also said that it will explore ways for businesses to send messages using its platform over the next several months. However, it has promised that it won't sell or share your number with advertisers But in case you still not happy and don't want WhatsApp to share your number with Facebook, you have 30 days to opt out.
