Xiaomi Mi A2 with Snapdragon 660 To Be Launched in India on August 8

Xiaomi has today unveiled the much-awaited Mi A2 smartphone with Android One at an event in Spain, and much like its predecessor, the  Mi A2  flaunts a sleek metallic build and an upgraded imaging hardware. The Mi A2 runs Android One which means you are getting a near stock Android experience with a few Xiaomi apps. The phone will be available in three color variants – Blue, Black, and Gold. The Mi A2 will be available in three variants: 4GB RAM + 32GB internal storage, priced at 249 Euros 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage, priced at 279 Euros 6GB RAM +128GB internal storage, priced at 349 Euros The company has not yet announced the prices outside Europe so Indian fans will have to wait to find out the pricing.  Mi A2  will be available in around 40 countries, including India, and  will go on sale starting July 27  in France through the official Mi website as well as online and retail outlets. Xiaomi Unveils Mi A2 Lite With Snapdragon 625 And A Notch, But It’s Not Coming to India

Xiaomi has today unveiled the  Mi A2 Lite  smartphone at an event in Spain, alongside the Mi A2. The Mi A2 Lite is one of the most affordable Xiaomi devices to feature a notch-equipped display that will be available in the international market, following the  Redmi 6 Pro  which was recently announced in China. Unfortunately, the device will not be available in India, from what Xiaomi announced on stage. The Mi A2 Lite packs a  5.84-inch Full HD+ display  with a 19:9 aspect ratio and a notch on top which houses the front camera and other sensors. The device will be available in three color options – Black, Blue, and Gold. The Mi A2 Lite is powered by the octa-core  Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC clocked at 2.0GHz, with an Adreno 506 GPU to handle the graphics. The device packs up to 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage which is expandable via a microSD card. Reliance Announces JioGigaFiber FTTH Broadband Service

At Reliance Industries’ 41st Annual General Meeting (AGM) today, company chairman Mukesh Ambani launched the highly anticipated FTTH (fiber-to-the-home) broadband service, alongside the JioPhone 2.  Registration for the JioGigaFiber broadband service will begin on August 15, and the process will go live on the MyJio app and the official Jio website. The rollout of Reliance’s ambitious fiber broadband service will be done on a priority basis, with locations clocking the maximum number of registrations getting it first. Reliance Jio Announces JioPhone 2 With QWERTY Keypad, WhatsApp, Facebook and YouTube

ioPhone 2 Specs and Features The JioPhone 2 comes with a number of changes and improvements, with the most striking change being the QWERTY keypad like older BlackBerry devices. In addition, it also borrows its predecessor’s 4-way navigation key and the dedicated voice command button to summon the  Hello Jio  voice assistant. It features a 2.4-inch QVGA display (320×240 pixels), and comes with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage that can be expanded by up to 128GB via a SD card. The JioPhone 2 also packs a 2MP camera on the back and a 0.3MP front camera for selfies. The device runs  KaiOS , supports FM radio and carries a 2,000mAh battery. It also offers native support for 24 Indian languages, and comes preloaded WhatsApp, Facebook and YouTube, among other Jio apps.
