Huawei Announce P10, P10 Plus Android smartphones at Mobile World Congress

The Huawei P10 Plus, as its name implies, is the beefier of the two models with a 5.5-inch WQHD display. The standard P10 ships with a 5.1-inch 1080p screen. Both devices will ship with the same Kirin 960 processor.

The P10 Plus has a 3,750mAh battery, a hair larger than the 3,200mAh option shipping  in the smaller Huawei P10. The Plus model also gets 128GB of storage and 6GB of RAM out of the box, with expandable storage as an option. The lower model still has a microSD card slot but ships with 64GB of storage and 4GB of RAM out of the box.

The cameras differ depending on the model, too. Leica is still providing the cameras. The Huawei P10 lens has a f/22 aperture, however, compared to the f/1.8 in the P10 Plus. Both feature a dual lens system, as Huawei has continued to add to its cameras, including a 12MP monochrome lens and a 20MP standard lens.

The Huawei P10 and P10 Plus will cost 649 euros and 685 euros, respectively. No word yet on a US launch but look for them in Australia, New Zealand, Mexico, Malaysia and Europe as soon as next month.
